More than a dozen residents of an Osceola County apartment complex were displaced on February 6, 2022, when a kitchen fire from an appliance, possibly an oven, set off sprinklers that damaged multiple units, according to the Kissimmee Fire Department.
The Red Cross is now helping the residents of over a dozen units.
The fire started at approximately 1:00am. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. Water restoration crews are working to remove the water from the fire but there is no word on when residents will be able to return to their homes.
